Details.

Does it replace Spotlight?

You decide. You can keep ⌘ Space for Busca and take it away from Spotlight in System Settings › Keyboard › Shortcuts.

Why does it ask for Full Disk Access?

To read your files and build the index. The index stays on your Mac.

Does search by meaning use the battery?

It only computes while the Mac is plugged in and idle, and it pauses when you start using it again.

Does it work on Intel or on macOS 14?

No. It needs Apple Silicon and macOS 15 or later.
